Then, there is something about the research progress of the electrochromic properties of tungsten oxide. The use of nanotechnology can synthesize crystalline tungsten oxide with porous structure, which has high stability and high discoloration rate. The tungsten oxide of simple cubic structure is widely used as a first-principle calculation model due to its simple configuration and good symmetry. Focusing on the characteristics of built-in lithium configuration of tungsten oxide, it was found that the Li-O distance played a key role. And it was found that the reason for the divergence is that the model was oversimplified. In other words, the tilt and distortion of tungsten-oxygen octahedron, which is prevalent in tungsten oxide, was neglected. And the structural distortion of the body-centered tungsten-oxygen octahedron induced by the second-order ginger-Taylor effect was neglected as well. Based on this, the proposed tungsten oxide model with distorted cubic structure can well reduce the error between the experiment and the experiment. In addition, through comprehensive analysis of the research results and problems encountered so far, it may provide some reference for the later in-depth research.
